Mickey Fine’s 50th Anniversary Breakfast – Beverly Hills
The landmark Beverly Hills pharmacy & grill Mickey Fine’s just celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in business with a charity breakfast benefiting The Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research. City Councilman Julian A. Gold, MD presented the establishment’s longtime owner’s Gina Raphael & Jeff Gross with a proclamation and thanked him on behalf of the City for the work he has done for cancer research and for the community.
Mickey Fine’s will also be serving pancakes at the upcoming LA Cancer Challenge 5k/10k Walk/Run event at the VA campus in Westwood Sunday, October 28th 2012. It’s LA’s original Halloween run…come in costume…events for kids! The overwelming majority of funds raised go directly to cancer research at UCLA. Lisa Manheim has been the Executive Director of the Hirshberg Foundation for the last 14 years, and I’m really proud of the good she has done. Bravo Lisa!
