50th Birthday on the America II

My Mom treated me to two days on the America II racing yacht for my 50th birthday. The America II was an America’s Cup challenger, which defeated 24 of 25 opponents…beaten only by Dennis Conner’s Stars & Stripes. We motored out to the wind line between Lanai, Molokai and Maui and she took off! We were sailing too fast and getting too wet to safely take more pictures…to bad…it was a rush! See more pictures from my trip to Maui. Thanks Mom. I’ll remember this day forever. Beautiful.
